My friend, deAnn , has a passion for the arts and the place where they intersect with God’s spirit…which is everywhere. I hear her speak with such enthusiasm about how she sees His creative beauty everywhere she looks and how she knows there is an artist in each of us because we all carry God’s creativity inside us. I am still looking for mine.

I occasionally write poetry but it only comes when God stirs my heart. My ability to draw is limited to stick people although they are very fine stick people if I must say. But, I look at incredible paintings, I see beautiful photographs, I witness graceful dance, I hear a stirring song and I wish those were my gifts. But even though I don’t possess those gifts, I certainly can enjoy them and celebrate them in others.
